Sheffield Wednesday’s approach to nurturing young talent is to ensure each child receives enjoyable relevant coaching without favour so that each child can develop technically, enabling them to enjoy and benefit from the beautiful game.
Under a new manager and coach, this season has seen some fantastic performances in pre-season friendlies (including reaching two finals in local tournaments) and the squad is moving in the right direction, playing some good attacking, attractive football. We’re not saying anything about the performance of their senior colleagues.
